La Marzocco Celebration of Signature Beverages
This is the second of a series of monthly illustrations for La Marzocco USA to celebrate the beauty of the SigBev (that’s ‘Signature Beverage’ - like an inventive cocktail only for espresso drinks.)
For March, I selected one of the coffee industry's most iconic beverages, Business & Pleasure - which has earned a nationwide reputation, being developed by G&B Coffee owners (Glanville & Babinski - a former U.S. Barista Champion). Using a rotating coffee (currently a dark single-origin, Montserrat, Honduras), this drink splits an espresso shot to enjoy solo, as well as shaken over ice with housemade macadamia-almond milk and a dusting of ground espresso. The pair of drinks is served with a refreshing sidecar of Fizzy Hoppy Tea - a sparkling, hops-infused oolong tea.

The espresso used in this beverage has tasting notes of dark chocolate, which is represented by chocolate squares which show Go Get Em Tiger script, which is also a nod to the development of a GGET chocolate bar Charles Babinski also formulated in 2020.
